Here are the beans! I’ve noticed on other plush pages that no one has qualms about showing their Crammed Organisms submissions off now, way before the show begins. So why should I?

I’ve just said goodbye to my babies! My submissions for my first ever plush/art show are officially out the door and on their way to stardom. I can breathe a big sigh of relief and focus on all the other things I’ve been meaning to do for the past three weeks. I did get a bit misty-eyed to see them go, though. I really love what I’ve made! I’ll post pictures of them for all of you on the weekend the show opens.

Although it’s not very soft or plushie, here is a picture of some awesome art-on-the side-of-a-building. I stumbled across it yesterday a few blocks from my apartment.

Here I am garnering bits of inspiration.

Pretty neat.

But what you are about to see is NOT an eggplant.

It’s a purple pear.

With a heart.

It has a been a very long, and not a very good week for me. But at least this little guy cheers me up.

I hope he cheers you up, too.

Unfortunately, there is not enough cheer left in me for haiku-ing.

Sorry! I know how much you all love them. (wink, wink)
