Where have I been? In North Carolina, that’s where. I’ve been crazy busy – too busy even to make plush, which makes my soul hurt. And now I have the flu! Hang in there, plush fans, I anticipate getting back to my sewing machine on Sunday. Fingers crossed!

Here’s a barn that I saw nestled way out in the Carolina countryside. Is that a pink trailer?

Stay tuned for at least three more veggies, a bunch more of the mini escapes, mini maggots, a foamy pineapple, and much much more!

I absolutely love making potatoes. I think this is because the process involves making the piece as asymmetrical as possible.

It’s knobbly and knotty and dimply.

Some of you may remember the other potato I made, wayyyyy back when. For those of you who are going through haiku-withdrawl, here are the excellent lines I devised for that piece:

Hello, plush fans! I’ve taken on a mobile project, once again for my much anticipated niece-to-be.

It’s not just any mobile – a veggie mobile!

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

It’s an eggplant.

More veggies to come. I’m thinking corn on the cob, potato, asparagus? Any suggestions welcome!

Now I have to figure out how to hang them!
