Here are some prototypes of ornaments I’ve been working on. Orna-monsters, to be exact!
This one is red and green and quite adorable.
The one on the left, in yellow and blue, is a mini-cosmonaut – a regular in the PterodactylPants family.
The angel in the middle is inspired by an Isamu Noguchi sculpture that I encountered during a recent trip to Chicago’s Art Institute. Here it is below, along with the full description – it’s almost like being at the museum in person!
I certainly hope this is legal. I thought the sculpture was so beautiful, I just had to pay homage in plush.
This is just the beginning. It’s a fun challenge to make my favorite monsters on a teeny scale. Fun and not as easy as I thought.
Hooray for Voting Day! Don’t forget to cast your ballots tomorrow, if you haven’t already!
And check back on Wednesday for the second PterodactylPants Haiku Contest! The special plushy prize has already been created and eagerly awaits its debut!
